Potter mania is definitely back as the 6th movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is inching closer. It’s July 31st, so let’s say a very happy birthday to both the amazing creator of the series, J.K.Rowling and the main character himself!

Sweet! The official trailer is out! This trailer is quite different from trailers of previous movies. It focuses on Voldemort, particularly Tom Riddle as a child, rather than the usual Harry, Hermione and Ron. It features Dumbledore showing Harry the memory of him visiting Tom Riddle in the orphanage through the pensieve. In the memory, Tom Riddle sounds like a demanding kid, and I’ve got to say he’s good at acting. Although I still rather prefer Richard Harris as Dumbledore, not Michael Gambon…
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince hits cinemas November 21, 2008. Can’t wait!! Let’s hope that the 6th installment will be much better than the below-standards fifth.
There was a rumour that AI7 runner up, David Archuleta will be debuting his new single on New York’s radio station Z100 this friday. It has now been confirmed by Z100 itself, thanks to the guys over at Archuletafanblast. Archie’s single is entitled “Crush“. Hehe. I guess it’ll be a catchy pop song. Archie will be second AI7 top 10 contestant to have a single to be released after Kristy Lee Cook. Can’t wait to hear it! The radio rip might surface sooner or later, be sure to check that out! AI6′s 4th place finisher, LaKisha Jones has disappeared for a while now but has recently released a single! It’s called “So Glad I’m Me” and it’s a hip-hop song, similar to artists such as Kelly Rowland and Mary J Blige. I’m not really into hip-hop, but it’s nice to listen to another side of LaKisha and not just screaming ballads. Hopefully we’ll see her album soon, which will be released exclusively on the internet only.

7th place finisher of AI7, the infamous gorgeous Kristy Lee Cook has a single out! It’s called “15 Minutes Of Shame” and I think it’s a very nice country song. Kristy is currently re-signed to Arista Nashville (which was the label that dropped her previously). So far Kristy is the fastest to dish out a single, the top 10 Idols are currently touring America for the Idol Tour 2008.

Hello internet! I miss you so. Exams have just passed and it’s a sigh of relief for me. I think (think) I did rather well in every paper, but the only paper I wish I could’ve done better was History. Ah well. It’s over. 
Back after a 5 day no-internet hiatus. So this is rather old news… Anyway. Cook updated his YouTube with another vlog.
Cook (aka sugarfoot XD) is in the tour bus with his pal, Andy Skib, on their way to a magazine shoot in Glendale, Arizona. I love that he adds little comments at the bottom of his video, it makes things even more hilarious.

Cook has gone a long way since the American Idol days. A new season has begun, but Cook is still rocking the world.
Cook's coronation single, "The Time Of My Life" has topped charts everywhere. The single has now passed it's platinum status but is still going strong.
Cook's post-Idol self titled debut album has garnered major success worldwide, and has already been certified platinum after 3 months.
The first single from the album, "Light On", is an airplay gainer on the charts and sales has passed the gold mark of 500,000 too.
